„Structural change in rural and urban economies“

2 and 3 July 2020 at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig

 

The 11th summer conference of the German-speaking section (GfR) of the European Regional Science Association (ERSA) will take place between 2nd and 3rd of July 2020 at the Thünen Institute in Braunschweig. It is jointly organized by the Thünen Institute of Rural Studies and the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Conference topic is „Structural change in rural and urban economies“ and the conference language will be English.

The keynote speakers are:

A further highlight of the conference is the presentation of the prestigious August Lösch Prize 2020 jointly granted by the August Lösch Association and the City of Heidenheim (Germany). The prize is intended to reward outstanding academic research in the field of Regional Science and carries an award of Euro 4000.

Submissions from all sub-fields of regional science such as regional and urban economics as well as economic geography are welcome until March 15, 2020.
